A very early (1869) edition of the Victorian Age favourite: the "entirely new edition, revised and corrected", published by Ward, Lock & Tyler rather than the later Ward, Lock printings. Text-block in good condition for its age. None of the usual food and/or drink stains. Cover (see image 2) is in fair condition, with weakish hinges showing some webbing; Spine cloth is become detached from top half of front cover. Hence a relatively low price for this scarce early edition.
