Mobil Vacuoline 137 is an extra high quality circulating system oil that is primarily intended for the lubrication of plain bearings in systems designed for full fluid lubrication. It is particularly well-suited for use in applications where there is a high risk of water contamination, such as back-up roll bearings in metal rolling mills. Mobil Vacuoline 137 is formulated from high quality base stocks and additives that provide outstanding water separation ability, good resistance to thermal degradation and oxidation, and protection against rust and corrosion. It is also resistant to the formation of emulsion and sludge, which can contribute to cleaner systems and filters. Solid contaminants also separate readily for easy cleaning by centrifuge, filtration or settling. Mobil Vacuoline 137 has a high viscosity index and good demulsibility that is retained under conditions of severe water contamination.
