The antiques market is becoming increasingly global, with auction houses using the Internet to distribute sales catalogues and results, so prices are becoming more standardized. In addition, the growth of the Internet has fuelled an exciting e-market, led by eBay, but also joined by the traditional auction houses who all now hold Internet sales.
