A portrait of one garden through the course of a year. In entries from her journal, prose and photographs, Martha charts her activities month by month, from ordering seeds in January to harvesting flowers in June, from painting fences in April to putting the garden to bed in November. The 600 photographs, all taken on the six acres around Martha's Westport home, capture the garden in all seasons and at all hours.
