This book is hardbound with navy blue cloth covered boards and it is in very good condition save for minor shelf wear mainly to the shelf edges and top and bottom of the spine. The stitched binding is very sound although, a plate depicting the chairman of the Textile Trades Advisory Committee has become detached from the front of the book. The pages are in very good condition and they are crisp and clean save for a couple of small marks to the margins of page 219. The cut face page edges have decorative red speckling and the endpapers have a lovely floral design. The right side front endpaper has a name and an inscription, dated 1929, written in ink. This unusual book is packed with black and white photography and illustrations with very detailed technical specifications.
