Carretera Tambogrande - Las Lomas, Department of Piura, during the months of January to March 2016. The objectives were: To evaluate the effect of waxing and size on the quality and shelf life of Kent variety mango fruit under hydrothermal treatment for 90 minutes and to determine the effect of the factors waxing and size. The waxing factor was studied with Ecowax export MG wax, Citrashine EU 3 wax, Decco Lustr 631 wax and no wax; the sizes evaluated were: size 6 (646-700g), size 7 (551-645g), size 8 (481-550g) and size 9 (426-480g).
