Powerful pressure in the boilerIn 1936, the Berlin-based Maschinenbau AG Schwartzkopf delivered the first fast-moving goods train locomotives of the 41 series. These machines proved to be universal locomotives for medium duty trains. Between 1936 and 1941 a total of 366 locomotives of this series were developed, most of which were taken over after the war by the German Federal Railways and the German State Railways.Model: Goods train steam locomotive series 042 with main oil firing and oil tender of the standard model 2´2T 34.
