Luxury Arts of the Renaissance sumptuously illustrates the stunningly beautiful objects that were the most prized artworks of their time, restoring to the mainstream materials and items long dismissed as extravagant trinkets. By re-examining the objects themselves and their uses in their day, Belozerskaya demonstrates how these glittering creations constructed both the world and the taste of the Renaissance elites. This copy is a first UK edition published in 2005. The dust-jacket has light shelf-wear but is otherwise very good. There is some damage at the top of the spine. Otherwise the hardback cover with decorated boards is in very good condition. Internally the book is fine with tight binding and unmarked pages. The first photo is a stock image, the remainder are of this copy.
