It was designed by the designer Francisco Gomez Paz for the lighting manufacturer Luceplan, which has combined a creative spirit with efficiency and functional quality through aesthetic and technological research since its foundation in 1978. The result is light fittings with a high standard of design and functionality which have a high decorative value even when they are turned off. Mesh, for which Francisco Gomez Paz won the Red Dot “Best of the Best” Design Award in 2016, consists of a mesh of interlinked cables. There are LEDs built into round plastic lenses at the points where these cables intersect. The LEDs emit a very atmospheric light.
