AJ wall light - timeless fusion of a cone and cylinder shape The AJ wall light impresses not only with its timeless beauty, but also and especially with its sophisticated functionality. Designed in 1957 by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen as part of the overall design of the SAS Royal Hotel (Radisson) in Copenhagen, the wall light still has a modern appearance and – like other elements of the hotel – is now considered a design icon. AJ comes with a round wall mount with an on/off switch and a slim, vertical arm. This arm bears the lampshade that is designed as a cone at the bottom and a cylinder at the top.
