When Leo Sayer first came on the scene he was disguised as circus clown and his big hit 'The Show Must Go On' fitted that vibe. When it was obvious that success had come his way Leo shed the makeup and carried on as the real Leo. Both images are shown on the sleeve. Silverbird is his debut solo studio album released in November 1973. It was co-produced by Adam Faith and David Courtney, who also co-wrote all eleven tracks with Sayer. The album features a mix of soft rock and pop rock. The disc has not been completely play tested. The sleeve has a worn spine.
