Different pictorial motif on spine. Covers are faded and scratched. Extensive rubbing on all edges and heavily bumped corners. Spine has 1cm splits top and bottom, and up to 2cm chips. Binding cracked at front and back; front flyleaf and last text page detached but present (stress on binding is inevitable due to large number of pages). Block dusty and inkstained at edges, some foxing, plates mostly clear. Piece of silver foil used as bookmark between pp 94-5 of 'Last of the Mohicans' has adhered to pages.
