Inspired by spring flowers – The Bouquet hanging light with a pleated lampshade and a linen cord Sinja Svarrer Damkjær is a young designer who specialises in industrial design. She designed The Bouquet, a series of lights for the Danish lighting manufacturer LE KLINT, in which she reinterpreted the traditional cross-pleats. The Bouquet, a one-bulb hanging light, is inspired by the shape of a tulip when in bloom. The white lampshade is hand-pleated and features a sharp pleat, an oak detail on the top of the lampshade, and a suspension system made of cables covered with cords. The designer combines traditional pleating art from LE KLINT with inspiration from the shape of a tulip and the rustic properties of linen. The Bouquet is a masterpiece of naturalness and modern lighting technology that creates a special lighting atmosphere.
