Spherical Lamella 3 designer hanging lamp - made in Denmark The Lamella 3 hanging light is a product from the Danish lighting manufacturer Le Klint, whose trademark is handmade pleated lampshades. Lamella 3, which was designed by the two young designers Hallgeir Homstvedt and Jonah Takagi, who run design studios in Oslo and Washington, also has this kind of pleated lampshade. The slightly glossy and translucent lamp foil is also pleated and shaped by hand. This craft requires three years of training, and is still performed manually at Le Klint as even the most modern machines are not able to perform the technique as well as a human hand.
