Good condition. Dark green boards are marked in a number of places, including some small scrapes and a darker stain to the bottom-right corner and edge. Marbled endpapers. Leather spine is heavily rubbed and fraying at the top and bottom. Binding very slightly loose, with a staple penetrating through between pages 128 and 129. Pages are uniformly toned with age with some foxing towards the edges. Appears to have been signed by the author, Gustave Garlin, opposite the frontispiece. NOTE: FRENCH-LANGUAGE ONLY. Title page describes the contents as follows: Menus - Haute Cuisine - Pastry - Ice cream - Office, etc. Followed by a comprehensive dictionary of technical terms.
