Each book is blue cloth bound with gilded titles to the spine. Gilded top edge. They are by different publishers but all uniform in their appearance. Condition varies throughout the collection. Almost all have faded spines with some faded to a brown colour, there is one with a hole to the spine and at least one with a split near the top. Bumped corners and head and tails of spines as one would expect from the age of the books. The general binding of the majority, if not all, is quite strong. A lot have hand cut page edges with some still uncut. Mild signs of foxing but nothing severe.
