Buckle the hip belt, making sure that it is centered, and then grab both sides of the hip belt straps and cinch until comfortable. Now, pull down on the excess shoulder straps (B) until the pack fits snug to your body. Next, buckle the sternum strap (D) and lightly cinch. The sternum strap can be adjusted by sliding the attachment arms up or down. The sternum strap should rest about 5" below the collarbone.
