Tasting Notes Kilkerran 12 Year Old Single Malt is the flagship whisky from the resurrected Glengyle Distillery. This is a decadent whisky, aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Expect initial notes of sweet confectionary, Turkish delights, pear drops and marzipan all present on the nose with subtle peat smoke coming through like marshmallows roasting on a campfire. On the palate you will get notes of lemon cheesecake, peat smoke, leather bound books and peppery notes that develop in to sweet sticky toffee pudding finishing with peat and pecan pie.
