Handmade in Italy: LED hanging lamp Copodimonte made of ceramics The name of the hanging lamp, Capodimonte, hints at its design. The small municipality of Capodimonte in Italy is known for its porcelain creations, especially artistically designed and delicate-looking flowers. The famous porcelain manufactory Capodimonte was founded by the Bourbon Charles III in 1743. With his wife Amalia, he wanted to establish a tradition which was in no way inferior to Meissen porcelain. The cylindrical hanging lamp Capodimonte is made entirely from ceramics. The body of the light is only open at the bottom, where the light outlet for the GU10 bulb is located. As the light produces a very targeted light, a number of lights should be used for the illumination of larger areas (tables and counters), e.g. suspended in a row or in a round arrangement.
