This omnibus compiles three novels by African-American author, Anthropologist and Folklorist Zora Neale Hurston. Each novel was released in the 1930s and independently represent an enormous moment in the career of Hurston: 'Jonah's Gourd Vine' being her debut novel, 'Mules and Men' being a hotly debated Anthropological text which transcribed African-American folklore from Florida and Louisiana, and 'Their Eyes Were Watching God' simply being a classic piece of American Literature. Condition: Minor marks and fraying on the front and back cover. Annotations with blue marker on the title page. In the photo of the title page the previous owners name has been obscured.
