The Sky Dome withstands high winds and rain. It's easy to recommend for people who already have a bit of experience in hiking, as well as beginners who want to invest in quality. As is common for modern dome tents, the Sky Dome has two doors and vestibules. Pitching is easy: spread the inner tent on the ground, rig the two long poles in a letter X pattern from corner to corner and rig the inner tent's hooks to the poles. Add the third pole piece that keeps the vestibule in the right shape. Put the outer tent on, click everything together and peg and tighten the guylines.
