The third in the series of Military Uniforms of the British Army by P H Smitherman covering the period from the Crimea War until 1960. The Crimea War was the last military campaign in which full military dress was worn and these uniforms are superbly presented in this volume in full colour illustrated and described by the author. Twenty full page colour plates. Cream board covers with red band to spine edging. Slight foxing to top and bottom from cover but otherwise clean with only a slight small mark to front. Full dustjacket with curling and small tear to top front and back.
