Fast-paced adventure sequel in which a former special forces soldier is transported back in time and becomes involved in a quest that may shape the future. Vancouver resident Granger (Dolph Lundgren) falls through a time vortex after being attacked in his apartment by a group of assassins. Though he is initially bewildered to find himself in a mediaeval world, he quickly falls in with Manhatten (Natassia Malthe), a woman who believes she can bring relief to her war-torn land by killing a witch known as the Holy Mother (Christina Jastrzembska). However, it quickly becomes clear to Granger that only the elimination of the tyrant king, Raven (Lochlyn Munro), can bring about peace - no small task when the only weapons the former soldier possesses in such a rustic era are his own two fists.
