In his time, the author was a noted authority on Venice with several books published relating to Venice, its history and architecture. Very Good condition absent of dust jacket. Binding remains strong and square with no loose pages or damage at the gutters/hinges. All illustrations are present and in good condition. The frontis tissue guard remains in good condition.
