Epistles by Horace is a collection of poetic letters, written in the form of verse, in which the Roman poet reflects on philosophy, personal conduct, and the art of poetry. The Epistles were composed around 20 BCE and provide insights into Horace's thoughts on ethics, society, and the human experience. This edition has been edited and translated into French by Francois Villeneuve. The book is in very good condition with the pages, cover and spine all intact. There is a minor scratch on the front cover and a small section of the cover text is effaced.
