The autobiography of Honey Bruce who was married to legendary comedian Lenny Bruce from 1951 to 1957. Born Harriet Jolliff in 1927, she went from teenage rebellion to crime and then became a successful showgirl and stripper before meeting Lenny Bruce, whose own taboo-breaking form of comedy was beginning to take shape in the 1950s. Nevertheless, Honey Bruce continued to promote her ex-husband's legacy after his death in 1966. 1st US edition, 3rd printing (1977) hardcover copy w/ dust jacket in a fair to acceptable condition.
