The Hybrid Sports Oil Filter from HKS is designed to minimise pressure drop on highly tuned engines. HKS have carefully designed the filter to offer better flow-rate when compared to a paper filter. This is especially important when using higher viscosity oil in highly tuned turbocharged engines.The filter itself uses an unwoven cloth/plastic fibre composite element for high strength and low pressure drop.A special super stealth frame stops the filter element from deforming. A neodymium magnet catches small metal particles and stops them flowing back into the engine.The HKS filter also has enlarged intake holes inside the filter, again to ensure high flow rate.
