Tasting Notes This ruby red Côtes du Rhône is a real family affair. Produced by Bernard Latour and his sons Julien and Emilien on a terroir that dates back to the time of the Knights Templar, its simply fantastique with roasts and casseroles. Crafted at Domaine de lEspigouette, this old-vine blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre is a classic Rhône red vinified traditionally and slowly matured in oak. Ruby red in colour, the wine displays aromas of red and black berry fruits with whispers of basil, black pepper and exotic spices. The palate offers a generous helping of luscious berry fruit together with savoury undertones and a soft plushness, all supported by rounded fine grain tannins.
