Handmade long ethnic style dress in wonderful hand embroidered very lightweight fabric. The dress is unlined and has a square neckline and 3/4 length sleeves. The top of the bodice has a pleated front and the skirt has stitched pleats at the waist opening to a full skirt. The neckline, cuffs and hem are edged in a braid-like fabric decorated with floral motifs in gold, beige and rose thread, which contrasts with the myriad of tiny flowers in ivory, pale green and rose in the remainder of the dress. Included is a matching scarf or stole which is 2.6 metres long x 26 cms wide. The photograph of the scarf detail, which shows the front and reverse, can be taken to reflect exactly the detail of the dress. There is no material label but we believe both to be made from fine open-weave cotton lawn. Features a long side zip. Please note that there is a 15mm split in the seam under the left armpit and some wear to the scarf edge braid. Measurements: Shoulder to hem 150 cms Underarm to underarm
