Depending upon the application the material moisture u (with respect to the dry mass) or the water content w (with respect to the wet total mass) can be shown. To measure, the device is simply placed on the material. The material to be measured is thereby neither destroyed nor damaged. Together with renowned manufacturers of construction material special characteristics for wood and construction material were determined, with whose help the moisture can be measured and evaluated. Along with optical moisture evaluation with the help of bar graph, an acoustic moisture evaluation is also integrated.
