This Great Domesday county edition is from a donation to Oxfam by the distributors of Alecto's facsimile 1986 reproduction of the Domesday Book of 1086, (in conjunction with the Public Record Office, now the National Archive). It comprises three volumes cloth-bound in dark brown & cream that comprise: - Domesday Book Studies (general) - Introduction and Translation - Huntingdonshire - Folios (facsimiles) and Maps - Huntingdonshire Its clam-shell case is quarter-bound in black and tan cloth with no title. Although the volumes are 'as new' having storage wear only, the clamshell case has slightly bumped spine ends and board corners. Because of its weight (6.5Kg), this will be sent by courier.
