So, minuscule amounts must reach forty, making this release the rarest of the rare.; The idea behind the expression is that it captures the layers that accumulate over time. Rather like the strata of rock that build up over many years in a valley, Cumulative Time has captured four decades of history within its liquid layers. This whisky was crafted using a technique calledremnant vattinga process in which Glenfiddichs Malt Master carries one batch over, time and again, before marrying it with the casks selected for each subsequent release.
