Taking, as inspiration, an Art Nouveau grape motif originally used by Georg Jensen himself to decorate early silverware, these classic clip-on sterling silver earrings conjure up all the glamour and sophistication of New York in the Roaring Twenties. A stylised bunch of grapes hangs from a beautifully crafted vine leaf and gives a sense of movement as the wearer turns whist an oxidised finish on the silver gives a subtle vintage appearance. Georg Jensen once compared the lustre of silver to the glow of the moon at night in Denmark and this observation lent its name to the Moonlight Grapes collection. Original Art Nouveau details are reworked and revisited to create pieces of jewellery that range from classic to contemporary but all showing the style and craftsmanship associated with Georg Jensen.
