Foscarini Twiggy grande - Pendant lamp with direct and indirect light The classic lampshade of the pendant lamp Twiggy grande is made of a lacquered glass fibre composite material. The special feature here are the two diffuser panes, which are attached to the shade both at the top and bottom. On the upper side, a diffuser made of translucent polycarbonate provides a pleasant, indirect light towards the ceiling. On the underside, there is a diffuser with a multitude of prisms, which ensures glare-free lighting on the surface below. As a pendant luminaire, Twiggy is therefore perfect for table lighting in all living rooms. The design of the Twiggy lamp series was developed by the industrial designer Marc Sadler for the Venetian lamp manufacturer Foscarini. As a long-time designer in the sports industry, he often experimented with new materials and innovative manufacturing processes, which also played a role in the design of the Twiggy collection.
