This futuristic model was designed in 2011 by Giulio Iacchetti, an Italian product designer who deals mainly with industrial design. While the base and shaft of the floor lamp Magneto are kept simple and inconspicuous, the head of the light is home to the extraordinary superpower. The spotlight resembles a torch in shape and light output and its flexibility is also very similar to that of a mobile hand lamp. It appears that the spotlight is connected to the base of the light only by the cable running up the shaft.
