Foscarini Caboche - dimmable LED wall light Designed by designers Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto, the Caboche LED wall light creates the effects of a crystal light with material that is rather unusual for creating the effect of multiple refractions of light: Polymethyl methacrylate, i.e. plastic. The hemispheric shade of the Caboche is built in two layers. A handblown glass shade covers the LED light source on the inside and provides absolute glare-free access to the outside. The elaborately designed outer diffuser gives Caboche its extraordinary personality. A metal frame has been placed on the inner glass shade, which is in turn equipped with individual arches made of polycarbonate. These arches are set with spheres of transparent polymethyl methacrylate, which are ultimately responsible for the refraction of light.
