The otherwise grey nature of concrete is cleverly reinterpreted here with colours, thus making the leap from the world of construction, where the material is normally used, to its use as a decorative luminaire. Since the material would otherwise completely screen the light, the shape of the Aplomb LED wall lamp is worked in such a way that there is a very wide opening at the top and a narrower one at the bottom. The upper side provides a sufficiently bright light, which is reflected from the wall as well as from the ceiling. The light from the narrow opening downwards forms a sophisticated light cone, which provides a decorative effect.
