Wirering LED wall light – a special light fitting for indirect light This wall light looks more like an objet d’art than a light source. This is because of the special approach of the creators of Wirering, the Italian designers Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin from the Formafantasma studio in Amsterdam. Their interest in product design developed during their studies at the Design Academy Eindhoven. Their previous, world-renowned work is characterised by experimental investigations into materials and by the exploration of the relationship between tradition and local culture, taking sustainability and the significance of objects from cultural channels into consideration. The Wirering wall light has an inside surface with a ring of extruded, satin-finished aluminium which was refined in a galvanic process. The ring is fitted with a warm white LED strip.
