Jennie Gillies is a costume and fabric artist known as the creator of extravagant, colourful and highly imaginative costumes, hats, fabric flowers and a diversity of exciting objects of wearable art. Her career has included producing floral costumes for the Festival of Flowers in Christchurch, New Zealand, a show for the Auckland Flower Show and productions for the Royal Adelaide Show. This book is a collection of her favourite fabric floral costumes as seen in her shows and is intended to present to the viewer the magic and diversity of nature's floral creations as she has seen them and has fashioned them to wear.
