This fire rated downlight is designed to accommodate any GU10 spotlight. This downlight is the 'fixed' model which cannot be tilted.An integrated intumescent material completely seals the downlight and any associated bores/cut outs to ensure that your ceiling's ability contain a fire is not compromised with its installation. The unit has been tested in 30, 60 and 90 minute fire rated ceilings.This downlight includes a GU10 connection cable and is also fitted with an integrated terminal block connector in order to connect the 240v supply quickly and safely.Approved to BS476 parts 21 - 23, suitable for 90 minute fire rated ceilings.Note that the fitting's cut out diameter is 75mm and the visible, front facing fascia is 92mm.When fitting a light bulb, please consider that the recommended maximum wattage is 35W for flammable surfaces and 50W for those that are non-flammable.
