Nature-inspired design: Lizia leaf-shaped wall lamp The Lizia wall lamp is a statement-making light for many reasons. Designer Giacomo Camiciottoli took inspiration from nature, namely from the popular Swiss Cheese house plant, when creating the extraordinary shape, which is the first striking feature. This plant is known for its large, palm-like leaves. The wall panel of this light is also shaped in this way. The light bulb is fitted to a small fixture at the lower end. This means that light is not only emitted out into the space, but also radiated onto the golden wall panel, which makes the beams of light shine with a warm, gold-toned effect. It is this surface treatment that really sets the wall lamp apart, making it an eye-catcher. The iron body is entirely coated with gold leaf, making Lizia a particularly fine designer piece.
