Following on from the success of the Excel Power XL4000i and the Mark II XL4000ii generator, Excel Power Generator listened to what the market needed and developed the XL4000i-DF Dual-Fuel version. This has the same feature-packed specification as the XL4000ii but with an integrated LPG system so it can be powered by either fuel. Being one of the few ‘factory made’ LPG propane generators this sits in a class of its own. The full petrol rating of 3.8kW only drops to 3.5kW when on gas so it still powers an amazing amount of equipment. Mobile caterers and other professional users are finding it more difficult to use petrol or diesel generators at venues and events. But LPG generators are accepted everywhere as the fuel is safe to store and the emissions are lower.
