The C Curve Single Pole 6kA MCB by ESR is available in many amp ratings ranging from 6 Amp through to 63 Amp. This range includes the B6C1-6, B6C1-10, B6C1-16, B6C1-20, B6C1-25, B6C1-32, B6C1-40, B6C1-50 and B6C1-63 models. These MCBs are designed to protect the user and their property from overloads and short circuits by breaking the current as is passes through your consumer unit in the event of suggested dangerous earth leakage. MCBs are known to save lives and are a commonly used component in domestic consumer unit configurations. These MCB modules will use 1 module/way on your consumer unit rail bar, and are ideal for light commerical - heavy domestic use in the C curve option such as when wiring circuitry for motorized appliances such as washing machines, tumble driers etc, or where fluorescent lighting is used. All models in this list will trip at 30mA. B curve RCBOs will trip at 3-5 times the rated current, while C curve RCBOs will trip at 5-10 times the rated current.
