Esquire is the long-running magazine first published in 1933 and predominantly catering for 'ambitious young males'. Originally published in the USA, the magazine has since branched out in international markets, including the UK where this issue is from. In this special 'Big Black Book' from the Autumn/Winter 2016 season (published in October 2016 to be exact), it is a rather glossy affair, with lots of pictorial sections and touts itself as 'the style manual for successful men'. As well as the usual pieces about men's fashions, fragrances, watches, etc., there is the 'Little Black Book of 101 Great British Shops' plus a number of in-depth articles.
