Snowboarding is getting a futuristic push in SSX. This isn't your normal snowboarding title, this is pure adrenaline racing action with a twist. This is board-crossing, this is fun and it's only available on PlayStation 2. SSX (Snowboard Super Cross) borrows elements from Tony Hawk's successful skateboarding games and improves on them. Expect technical combinations and hi-speed, high-scoring big air jumps. The more tricks you pull off, the higher your adrenaline meter and that means faster speeds. Electronic Arts racer is excellent in both the gameplay and graphics departments. One of the reasons SSX is so impressive is the massive scale of the courses on offer.
