This heavy-duty manual hydraulic spring compressor has a capacity of 5 tonnes. It is a powerful way to disassemble and maintain Macpherson-type shock absorbers without the need for electric or air devices. The strut leg vice is compatible with awkward struts – avoiding the use of additional adaptors too. The top arms are fully independent and have vertical and horizontal movement. The clamps and yolks securely grip a very wide range of spring configurations and diameters, to provide excellent coverage. This spring compressor is not only extremely versatile, but also very robust with an all-steel construction and a safety cage for securely clamping and compressing coil spring.
