Furniture made from mango wood has a long tradition in India. After all, it is a cultivated plant with an annual yield of around 15 million tonnes (!!!) of fruit in India alone. Due to its high density, this wood is just as suitable for furniture making as beech, oak or teak. In the Vintage Natural Wood series, carpenters from the province of Rajasthan use this very wood to create a rustic series with an antique touch. The theme of factory design is also incorporated here, as the hand-forged fittings and castors are reminiscent of the industrial revolution.
