Lina Nordqvist’s graduation project at Beckmans College of Design explores the traditional Swedish stick back chair in a modern context. The Family Chairs was awarded with the Accent on Design Award 2009 in New York, and Swedish Elle Deco’s Design Award in 2009\. Now also available with a seat cushion. ### ### Solid Beech The Family Chair No.3 is made of solid beech, which is then painted in different colours. The stylish chair can be used in the dining area or as a kitchen chair. The extravagant appearance with the composition of individual struts exudes Scandinavian charm and skilfully brings together past and present.
