Constructed from highly durable pine, it is well suited for Schools, Hospitals, City Parks and domestic home use. The Darwin Bench is kiln-dried and pre-treated to category 3, giving it a ten-year-plus life span. A yearly treatment of a sealer or a protector will further increase the life span. Add a fitted cushion in a choice of four sumptuous colours. As part of the weathering process pine cracks will appear, this is the normal behaviour of the timber and the bench was designed with this in mind, its strength and durability will remain unaffected.
