Tasting Notes This Late Bottle Vintage 2017 has been crafted from some of the best full-bodied red Ports produced in the 2016 harvest. The wines have been aged in wood and then blended after six years, ensuring a wine that is harmonious and balanced and that there is a continuity of style from previous Croft LBVs. The deep purple hued Port with a burgundy, red rim sings with vibrance, freshness and purity. Notes of dark plum, wild strawberry and Chelan cherry alongside hints of thyme and black pepper invite you in, before the palate is granted tarragon, rich red plum, strawberry and blackberry with a touch of cassis and rich, coffee bean undertones.
